"OUT OF RANGE" error on my monitor whenever i try to boot up plutonium T5
-
i am seriously getting mad at this. No matter what I do (Ive basically looked up every solution) NOTHING WORKS. It worked the first few times but then I rebooted the game because one of my friends was not able to join my private match because his game said "Unable to connect, activision matchmaking" something like that. So I restarted my game, and then the game just DOES NOT WANT TO WORK ANYMORE. I execute the
r_fullscreen 0
,vid_restart
commands and when i type vid restart it goes back to being out of range. I see black ops normally but in a freeze frame. When I alt tab, it goes back to out of range. Ive tried setting the resolution to 2560x1440 through bootstrapper, and that just makes it so that my screen doesnt shrink and mess up all the window sizes, but the game IS STILL OUT OF RANGE! MY MONITOR CAN SUPPORT 2560x1440 and 165 HERTZ! I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!!! WHEN I LAUNCH BLACK OPS 1 THROUGH STEAM IT BOOTS UP LIKE NORMALLY AND THIS STUFF DOESNT HAPPEN! HELP! please. -
To add on, Before this my game was working perfectly fine, as I was able to get into a match with my other friend, my resolution was completely fine, not out of range. My resolution was set to 2560x1440, I was in fullscreen, I could alt tab and come back to the game, everything was perfect. Then I suddenly relaunched It said out of range. I dont know what the hell happened in between the first session and the second session. I did not modify plutonium in any way

my bad...
i am cooled off now, i somehow got a temporary fix by double clicking on the directx exe file and reinstalling it, then changing the resolution in the black ops window when it opens up so i get borderless fullscreen 2560x1440. but I have to do it everytime i restart the game or else it will be a black screen again. cant be something to do with drivers because i literally updated it yesterday to the current version so idk...
