Microphone volume set to 0 every time I launch BO2

Every time I launched BO2 through Plutonium, it resets my actual microphone volume to 0. It's a major hassle as it messes with other programs I'm using such as Discord.
Any suggestions? Tried a few troubleshooting tips - different drivers / uninstalling them, different devices etc.
Not sure if it's a problem on my end or not.
