Gold Camo stays black after trying to get a custom one

I tried to install some custom camos and got one for the gold weapon.
When i tried it in game the camo was just the standard one as if i had no camo equipped.
Specular Map is on and I have removed the custom file but the camo still stays black. -
EDIT: renamed the part of the files saying ''gold'' to ''red'' to see if it would do the same thing and it did. Now my Red camo is just blank aswell.
EDIT2: Uninstalled and reinstalled the game on steam and it still doesnt work???
