LAN play not working

I have been wanting to play the game with my friends in offline lan. But we have not been able to. I have followed the basic tutorial on the same lan i started a custom game and then my friend used the connect command using my ip to connect. It does not show anytjing after saying joining game for a bit.

On top of that i tried hosting a game using dedicated mode with a server key. This time the game detected the server and started loading but then after a moment it showed server not verified by plutonium.

What can we do to have a LAN party with plutonium please help!

barat556 try using your local ip or "localhost"; your router might not support NAT loopback

also make sure you use your port with a colon preceeding it. examples:

connect localhost:4976
connect 192.168.192.1:4976

Make sure to change your port on your server BAT, as by default it is 4976, which is the same port the client uses. ex: 4977, 4978

First of all don't mix LAN and offline, they're not the same thing.
You need internet access to play LAN on Plutonium.

Also since the lobby update BO2 doesn't work in LAN mode with direct IP connections from what I read

Now if you want to host a server make sure you don't use the same port, use something above like 5000
Then you can try connecting with connect localhost:5000 and your friend with your local IPv4 followed by the port.

My main thing that i want is i wanna join my friend on the same network without internet. I basically wont have internet access. For this i have tried by just connecting with console(the connect command). But it didn't work.

Then i used the server configs. Which shows could not verify user. What can i do to let people join my server even in offline mode in the same network??
