Not installing DLC

So i've followed the steps for downloading the DLC maps when you have the game on Steam, yet every time i load up my game ive just got the initial zombies maps. Not particularly willing to spend £40+ on a game that is 12 years old either. Is it easier to just download BO1 through Plutonium in order to get the DLC?

Easier yes since it comes with the DLC out of the box but both are easy and both work fine
