BO2 runs poorly while OBS is open?

does anybody know why the t6 client runs horribly while OBS is running? the game runs perfectly fine when obs is closed, i can have literally any other program open and its fine, just not OBS. i have a 12700k and a 3080 so i know its not my specs, i have draw fps on and it shows im staying at a consistent 120fps; however, i can definitely tell it's not, and when i close OBS it immediately runs fine. this isn't an issue with any other games, does anybody have a fix?
