Ping issue

Hello, I've noticed that I get around 20 ping higher than it estimates in the server browser. I am assuming it's not my internet connection as I was playing the MWii free trial (the new cod) and had an average of around 30 ping. The server browser is ordered by ping with the lowest first so it's also not the servers are in a different region. It's p weird and I couldn't figure it out so hopefully someone in the community can at least pitch me some ideas.

Are you in Wi-Fi or ethernet? If you're in Wi-Fi then the case is closed.
Wi-Fi is not stable and what you get when browsing a list of text and playing a video game on a server with multiple players is not the same

Resxt well im on ethernet and as I said my ping is way more consistent in other cod games.
edit: for example the cod 4 server browser gives me a pretty accurate ping list, it changes by 3-5 but not anything like 20-30 which is what I experience on bo2.
