Really strange issue... I haven't changed any settings and I'm starting to fear its a physical mouse issue, but on other applications my cursor isn't fucked up like this.

My issue is that my aiming and general camera movement is screwed up. I can't really find a pattern that it follows, but its similar to sporadic mouse-skipping. Instead of being smooth, it will constantly stop for half a second before jolting to where my camera would have been if the stop hadn't occurred. Additionally, ADS is unbearably slow but still suffers from this jolting. Needless to say this is really fucking annoying and I can't aim with this issue.

I have switched FPS caps and defaulted my controls and settings but this issue still persists.

    Any help appreciated.

Can you try to switch your mouse refresh rate?

Xerxes Unfortunately not, mines just set from the factory and the manufacturer has mentioned that its risky to change it via third party software, but its probably worth a shot as others have tried it with success. Answering ps9 's question, I have a finalmouse from 2018 with 500hz polling rate.

twomad i think the 500hz polling rate is the reason for this happened, low polling hates in some games can cause this problem because they are used to support the 1000hz polling hate mices nowadays, its have been rare seeing people using below 1k polling rate, so try playing with another mice or change the polling rate if possible, and come here and tell us if the mice is the problem or it was the polling hate.
