Not able to play with friends (Portforward is not an option)

So me and my Partner have played black ops 2 a few times together using Plutonium and it's worked fine, but all of a sudden today when trying, We've not been able to join eachother and we've tried many different things that haven't done anything.
Removing and Re-adding firewall information, removing and re-adding eachother, closing and retrying, using hamachi etc. Nothing has done anything yet it worked fine last time we tried to play. I cannot portfoward as we are in University so the wifi we have is just an extended part of a main hub somewhere, which is not something we have access to.Anybody know anyway to properly fix this or it's happened to you and you found a working method? Any help is appreciated ^^

Look, they have to take into account the NAT if the one that creates the game has the Strict NAT only those of Open NAT can join. If the one that creates it has Open NAT and the other partner has Strict NAT, it cannot join. I hope you understand me and if you need help, answer again here.

You could try to use a VPN that is less strict than your WiFi.
