Origins easter egg glitch

When i play origins and do easter egg, the staff holders dont spawn in the robots after i evolve all of them, why is that?

I found out for me the reason why is because you cannot do the main egg when the game is on easy difficulty. This could be why. However, for me there is also currently a glitch were throwing the g-strike onto the stone pad to cause the panzers to spawn is not working and the stone pad is not getting destroyed. Hopefully you have better luck.
