Account locked?

Hello!
So today i was trying to sign into my old account that hasn't been accessed in a very long time
and i got the following message:

and i was wondering if the account has been locked due to the name or banned due to something i did?

misleader did you type in a wrong password multiple times by any chance? that would auto lock it for 15 mins.

Dss0 Oh i did enter it wrong a few times i had no idea this caused the account to be locked,
i guess ill retry it in 15 mins. should i notify if this keeps occuring?

Majority of websites work like that for security reasons. If you put a wrong password too many times it gets blocked for some time. Just try again later

I'm pretty sure you don't get locked out of your account if you try to do it in the launcher. Once you get the password
and log into the launcher, then you can use the same one on the website. I don't know if this idea was intentional or not, but I like it.
