Upnp is enabled. I tried this on both multiplayer and zombies. On the multiplayer I made a private game. When my friend tried to join me there was just a black screen with "Awaiting connection" or something along those lines and then it proceeded to kick him out with the message "Server Connection Timed Out". I then joined a normal server and friend was able to join me fine. In zombies i did the same by making a private match. My friend tried to join me but clicking my name in friends list did nothing. Tried to connect to my ip address and also nothing happened. Then we both tried to connect to a normal server via the server browser and it worked fine. Anyone know what the problem could be?

I've got a similar issue, except that whenever my friend tries to join me via the friends list, nothing happens. No reaction and nothing in the console as far as I can tell.

I get this problem too it's super annoying. I even tried setting up a whole server and port forwarding but it still doesn't work. I swear the people here are super rude. They just say "youre stupid for not following directions" to people having issues. Uh- yeah I did, but it still doesn't effing work!

Zombies4EvaDude no one was being rude to you at any point. I simply said, after multiple attempts, that you don't understand the topic and that even if you don't want to understand it:

          • UPnP and port forward is not the same at all
          • Local and online connections don't work the same at all
          • I can't help with people using multiple routers and computers in the same home since this provides issues especially if you don't know the topic pretty well so I'm not gonna bother with something so complex with someone who doesn't understand the basics.

The only thing you need to know is that if you port forward the correct port properly on your router it will work. There's nothing more to it
