How do you use Steam Input in Plutonium?

Hello! Recently, I've been experimenting with Gyro Aiming and Flick Stick in FPS games recently. I'd like to do this with the Plutonium games, mainly World at War. Pressing Shift + Tab and clicking Controller Configuration will very briefly open this window, and then close it.
