I've tried again (on r622 atm) and have successfully connected to online services.
Experimented both with firewall enabled and disabled (though, I recall allowing it through the firewall, it is definitely excluded now), connects to servers just fine.
I have no antivirus.

I played just fine then i got off for 2 hours then tried to play again and then now i cant join any severs.
