freeze when joining server

Mate of mine installed plutonium and whenever he clicks to join a server his entire game just freezes.
He tried waiting for longer before joining a server and uninstalling and reinstalling, didnt work.Anyone got any suggestions?

Can't help without knowing which game this is about.
Plutonium is a client that supports 4 games, both MP and ZM.
Not everything works the same depending on the game -

Wait for the list to finish loading all servers in the list before joining one
