Controller Rumble?

Found this mod - very interesting. BO2 was even decently populated on odd hours.
As of now, BO2 is the only one that has seems to have working rumble support. The two other games I have, World At War and BO1, do not have working rumble through the controller. Is this a consequence of the crappy PC Ports for these games, or am I doing something wrong? I'm on an XBOX Elite Series 2, through the official 2.4 GHz dongle.
I figured if target assist from consoles was added back, perhaps rumble support would be as well. The "gpad" rumble is set to "1" in each config for both games in AppData/Local/Plutonium, with no result.
Thanks to anyone who might know. Cool project - hopefully it can survive to add IW4x's games as well.
