Using Plutonium over Spacewar

Is it possible that Steam can ban your account for using BO2 (obtained by the torrent previously provided by Plutonium) and connecting by Spacewar?
I have read so much on the subject that it has scared me for alleged piracy that I have deleted it, but I still have 18 minutes on my main account. -
The chances are insanely low. Steam very rarely bans people for this. Most likely 0.001% of people got banned for this.
This has been a thing for a very long time, Steam would shut it down or ban people if they cared
