BO1 Zombies crashing when starting Kino der Toten
-
Hello,
black ops 1 zombies crashes when trying to launch kino der toten map. It goes into loading screen but closes everything afterwards without going into the game. What is the Issue here -
Try validating your game's files in your Steam Libary right click BO1 > Properties > Installed Files > Verify Integrity Of Game Files.
The crash is most likely caused due to you missing one or more game files.

@Rin-Supremacy
this is the console before crashing:
Video memory for device: 3072 MB.
Rounded video memory size: 2048 MB.
DirectX reports 2048 MB of video memory and 3833 MB of available texture memory.
Using video memory size to cap used texture memory at 2032 MB.
Picmip is set manually.
Using picmip 0 on most textures, 0 on normal maps, and 0 on specular maps

Bedirhan28 Out of memory i believe would be ram related. All i could suggest would be try closing as many unneeded programs in the background/or task as possible since it appears to have crashed trying to reserve memory for the game.
-
@Rin-Supremacy well i have more than enough ram actually and this only occurs in the kino map. My Friend also had this but he installed some redist files and it worked for him . But when i did the same it still did malfunction. Am i missing something here?
-
"Out of memory: filename 'C:\projects_pc\cod\codsrc\src\universal\com_memory.cpp', line 2144"
The error message indicates that the game is running out of memory, specifically at line 2144 in the file 'com_memory.cpp'.
In such cases, optimizing the game settings, ensuring that unnecessary background processes are closed, and increasing the system's virtual memory could potentially help alleviate the issue. Additionally, checking for updates, both for the game and for system drivers, can be beneficial.
-
Increased System virtual Ram still the error "out of memory "pops up after 3 sec in loading screen

You mentioned before, that your friend installed specific redist files and after u did the same, u still sitting on the problem. Did u installed exactly the same as he does? Maybe u need to install different redist for CoD or did he installed all redist that needed?
Maybe your Kino der Toten fast file is corrupted and the script trying to reserve more memory then it should. Try to get the zombie_theater.ff and zombie_theater_patch.ff files and the specific language u use.
Black Ops > Zone (there is "common" and "english, german, french etc."
in common is zombie_theater & zombie_theater_patch
in xx is xx_zombie_theater & xx_zombie_theater_patchBoth in common and xx should be replaced and just in case ALWAYS SAVE YOUR ORIGINAL FILES.
Instead of overwrite them, make a new file for your original files or rename them.

And tag me when you reply, cuz i don't get notification and need to search for this thread manually.
