Phd Flopper Slow BO2

Hello, I really like using the phd flopper but it gets up very slowly or right after exploding I try to throw myself on the ground and it squats. Would there be any bind or technique to get up faster and explode?

For faster pick up after an explosion using the PhD Flopper, try pressing the jump key (usually the "space bar" on your keyboard) immediately after the explosion so the character recovers faster and doesn't crouch.
