Still Cannot Host a Lobby of My Own
-
In Black Ops II Zombies & Multiplayer it rarely lets me host a custom game without issues. Every single person has their firewall disabled and I have ported forward. After I ported forward it worked flawlessly for a time, but now it seems it's left up to chance whether it will work or not. One time restarting my game made it work, but that no longer seems to be a solution. Is there something I'm missing? Do I have to port forward again on a different port? If that's the case, will this issue arise once again?

Just use Plutonium or Redacted and there shouldn't be issues anymore.

@BETTERCODER So I used the plutonium updater and updated the game, and still I'm having these issues. I don't know what Redacted is, but I read somewhere that on top of porting forward to port 3074, you should also port to 4379 & 4380. I did both of those things and still I'm having issues. Is there something more I'm missing or something more I can do? Because simply using plutonium and inviting friends through the friends list doesn't work.

If you're using a platform like Steam, verify the integrity of the game files. Corrupted files can lead to connection issues.
Ensure that UPnP is enabled on your router. This can help with automatic port forwarding.
If UPnP is not working, try manually forwarding the necessary ports for both TCP and UDP. Make sure to restart your router after making these changes.Assign a static IP address to your computer to prevent changes in the dynamic IP from affecting port forwarding.
And check game settings.
