Awaiting connection

I just launched my own server, and it can be found in game, but i can't join it, it just sits at awaiting connection, and then times out.
What to do to fix ???
Please help me out, i'm new to server hosting

JannickP96 you not being able to join your own server through certain means can be normal, if you're hosting on the same PC you play on.
What matters is people from the outside.
Connect to yourself with connect localhost:port -
Resxt I did like you instructed me to. But would be nice if i could pay someone for server hosting again

You should always be able to join through 127.0.0.1 on T6. You probably should look into a cheap-ish VPS if you want to host it in a data center.

Xerxes i see that you're hosting many servers, could i maybe pay you per month for hosting my servers?
