Do only xbox controllers work with plutonium or other brands like Halion too?

my xbox controller works fine but another remote by halion does not connect

if im correct, you can use ds4windows to use third party controllers in plutonium.

The only thing relevant for Pluto is that the controller "speaks" xinput.
