Cannot join servers. Comes up with "Joining game session", goes away and receive nothing but a "Server replied with invalid "mods" data" from console

Friend and I have had issues today with trying to log into multiplayer servers. When we try to join one server it shows at the bottom a "joining game sesion" for a second or 2 and then goes away. We are still on the home screen with no connection and this is what we both get in our CMD.
Not sure what to do. I refuse to touch anything with firewalls because this is the first time I had this issue and it was running fine 2 days ago. I have verified integrity of my game files and have downloaded a new launcher exe to make sure I was running the most up to date. -

Thanks, for some reason it wasnt working in my office but worked when I got back to my dorm room. Not sure what changed
