How do I sync bo2 steam with plutonium?

You need to open the plutonium launcher, go to bo2 mp or zm then click game setting once you done that. you will see a button that says verify ownership and make sure the steam is running. click it and it should work.

No, you don't have to run the game on steam but you do have to install the game beforehand, But make sure plutonium launcher is using the steam game path. Once that is done then you just verify the game with the plutonium launcher which will take you to the plutonium site and everything should be done from there.
