You are connected to the server bug

When I play some server for 2-3 matches, and then when the 4th match starts, I get randomly disconnected from the server with the error message "An error occured while trying to join the server", and when I try to join back, it says "You are already connected to the server".
My buddy who is in the same server says that he sees my name in the tab list with a disconnect symbol next to my name.
Any idea how to fix it?

Thats not a bug but intended design.
There are 2 ways around it.- Don't get disconnected.
- Wait for the server to time you out.

- Its never me who disconnects the server, Its the server who disconnects me, so I cant really help that disconnection. Also, When I tried to join the server for the very first time ever, It did the same thing I mentioned above.
- My buddy who was able to join the server waited till he got the "playername timed out" message to appear, so that I can try to join after that. I tried, I couldnt, same error message. And this same thing is occuring in many different servers.

Once you are timed out you can rejoin the server.

I have the exact same issue and I was looking for a fix, because it is quite annoying to be honest
And sadly, this is not it. I have been timed out several times from the looks of it while waiting on the server list and I can join at some point, but continues giving me the exact same issue.
Firstly, "An error has occured while connecting to the servers" and then subsequently "You are already connected to the server.
Is there any other way to fix this issue, as this is not working? Thank you

The first error usually indicates you tried joining a server running a DLC map which you don’t have installed. You can confirm if this is the case by checking the external console/terminal window for it it displays the following when you receive that error:
EXE_CONFIGSTRINGMISMATCH
The fix is to install the DLC. -

Would you be so kind as to tell me how to install the DLC's?
I have the base game on Steam but I don't own any of the DLC's this game has, in the past Plutonium used to provide them but they had to take down the links so as to not get into problems with Activision, as far as I recall.

kiDRetadoR you can get them from Steam. Plutonium doesn’t condone piracy.

why i cant join server when i open vpn ?

It would be best if you asked individual server owners that question. VPNs are usually forbidden to prevent people from evading bans. Please understand that Plutonium hosts zero servers and all you see on the server list are community servers hosted by others. They can set whatever rules they want about VPNs.
