Why can't Plutonium activate Achievements?

I understand it's not on Steam, but it still seems to launch as the game where Steam thinks the game is running. Is it really not possible? And if so, how can I play and do the achievements if it's risky because of the CVEs/RCE RAT risk?

The Game is not fully connected to the Steam API Things as playtime or Achievements will not be Tracked.
