incompatible network versions

My friend and I played the other day and when we came back to playing another session a few days later we were unable to join each other, we've been trying fix this issue for a couple of hours we both changed our port number '3074' and did the proper type 'udp' and done tons of tweaks to our fire walls and nothing has worked and i'd like to mention that we're able to play together on bo1 but not bo2.
