With game and launcher closed try deleting the t5 folder in %localappdata%/Plutonium/storage

        Also when does this happen?
What language is your game in?
Did you ever install a patch or script or language or modify files in any way or use another client before etc?

          Thanks for responding Resxt

I tried deleting the folder you told me. The game as usual boots up, show me the first 2 cutscenes and then give me the error message and i'm stuck with it if I click exit it pops up again and there's nothing I can do.

_ This happens as soon as i start the game, right after the intro cutscenes, the game error and crashes before i can ever see the menu.

          _ Game in in english

_ Yes I have 5and5's hud that displays zombie counter and game's time, but I tried a fresh install with no mods whatsoever and plutonium still had this issue.

I’m almost certain it’s caused by a modified file. Delete common_zombie.ff and common_zombie_patch.ff then verify integrity of game files and check if the problem persists. If that doesn’t work, then explain how you’ve installed the HUD mod, and send pictures of your game’s directory and your %localappdata%\Plutonium\storage\t5 directory.

Hadi77KSA Thank you for your answer, I did everything yousaid, uninstalled all modifications to the game (ReShade and HUD mod) + all instances of common_zombie.ff and common_zombie_patch.ff have been removed and then I verified integrity of game files (said it had to reacquire 4 files) and it still did not work.
The game on steam works perfectly fine bu plutonium version gives me this error. Again WaW and BO2 works perfectly fine on plutonium.

I still have the exact same issue as before.
I told you it has nothing to do with mods or whatever, when I had this issue the first thing I obviously did before coming here to post was to remove all modifications before trying. And I have the same error message whatever I have mods or not.

Here's what my t5 folder looks like, Resxt already told me to delete that exact folder.

And here is my bo1 main directory, "Mods" folder is empty obviously.

Miaa_ that’s odd. I’m not sure how to fix this. You could bypass it by obtaining the _zombiemode_dissolve.csc file (as well as any future files that are preceded by “clientscripts” that might come up later) and placing it in a clientscripts folder that you create in %localappdata%\Plutonium\storage\t5
For obtaining that file, you could use “Black Ops FF Explorer” by master131: https://www.itsmods.com/forum/Thread-Release-Black-Ops-FF-Explorer.html
The file in the error you’re facing is in common_zombie.ff

Hadi77KSA Thanks a lot ! Finding that missing file is the first thing I tried to do when I first got the error but I couldn't find it anywhere online, glad to see there's an archive of all game files. I'll give this a try and keep you updated ^-^

Miaa_ you’re welcome. Just a note though, what I’ve linked is not a file archive, it’s a tool for viewing and extracting the contents of BO1’s files that end with .ff.

Hadi77KSA Holy Shit it FINALLY worked.. Bruh you really gotta be a fucking IT engineer to make this game work it's insane.. There's simply NO WAY I would have found the BO1 FF Explorer by myself and realized i could use it to extract these files into a new clientscriptss folder i have to create in the appdata pluto files..

So basically the game was missing _zombiemode_dissolve.csc and _zombiemode_weap_tesla.csc

So thanks a lot, i haven't played yet but at least I can get to the main menu now, it was such a hassle that I preferred abandoning and keep playing on steam. This morning I decided to give it a try and thanks to you it worked (not thanks to the staff or devs who despite being extremely used to working with BO1 code and files visibly couldn't figure it out, well i mean, it's not like they even tried anyway lol)

So if someone ever has this issue in the future it's pretty simple once u know what to do :

                      • Install https://www.itsmods.com/forum/Thread-Release-Black-Ops-FF-Explorer.html

                      • Go to C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t5 and create a folder named "clientscripts"

                      • Open BOFF Explorer, click "open files", go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops\zone\Common (or anywhere you installed the game if not via steam) and select common_zombie.ff

                      • Once loaded, click on the "clientscripts" branch and now you can right click on _zombiemode_dissolve.csc, choose "extract file" and extract it in C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t5\clientscripts (which is the folder you just created earlier)

                      • Start the game, if it works then it's good, but if like me you still have the same error message but with a different file (for me it said that _zombiemode_weap_tesla.csc was missing too, I repeated step 4 but extracted this one instead and now the game worked.

I was visibly the only person on this entire planet to have this issue, I guess other people had it but also aren't tech savvy (like me) and just gave up instantly seeing that there isn't a single solution for it online anywhere.

Thank you again Hadi77KSA for your very precious help ❤ there's just no way i would have figured half
this shit out by myself, and despite not being an expert, i'm pretty comfortable with computers and basic gaming troubleshooting, so I can't even imagine for regular people with less experience how basically impossible it is to fix
