Anyway to turn off variable zoom in Bo2?
-
When I turn my fov scale all the way up and then I ads with a pistol my fov stays the same which I think looks very nice because I don't want it to ads zoom and mess with my fov. But then I pull out a m14 or an-94 for example and the fov zoom happens but not with pistols. I want no fov change and to see everything around me with every weapon not just pistols is that possible? I found this in the console: cg_useWeaponBasedVariableZoom 1 which I think is what is causing that zoom when I ads down lowering my fov but I can't set it to 0 it just stays at 1. I guess the point I'm trying to get at is is there anyway to remove the variable zoom or to force it at 0? Because it doesn't work in the console. I guess it isn't the biggest deal in the world but it would be very nice to not have. Like I can deal with the variable zoom whatever and I can deal with the depth of field when I ads as well even though you can turn that off. But it would be SO much nicer.
No ads with pistol:
with pistol ads:
See there is no change when not ads or ads now this.
M14 no ads:
and then M14 ads:
If you know anything or have any ideas they would be appreciated thanks for your time if anyone even sees this.

Might want to experiment with
cg_fovmin

Hadi77KSA Absolute W I was messing with it and it worked thank you! If I have my scale to 2.00 and set my fov to 65 and then do cg_fovmin 130 its how I want it exactly. No variable zoom with the guns not even the pistol.
