A few days ago, some friends came to my house and brought their PCs to play some private games. We were connected to the same router via Wi-Fi, with no manual port forwarding. I have read that it is not necessary to port forward if we are on the same network, but we were experiencing some lag. I wanted to ask if it’s possible to play without lag while connected to the same router

Could be your wi-fi having some issues? Maybe run some Ethernet to see if that will fix the lag?
