Black screen upon lauch

Ok so when I launch the game I have a black screen. Can hear the music. I tried writting the commands r_fullscreen 0 and vid_restart and it worked but, I wasn't on fullscreen. Then I tried to put it on fullscreen within the games settings but it went back on a black screen. Now the commands don't work anymore and don't know what to do. The weird part is that I launched the game multiple times yesterday and it worked fine and could play.
How can I fix this this please help
