I don't wanna speak too soon but the issue appears to be fixed as of the latest update.
I tried about an hour after the update came out and was still receiving the error, but 9 hours later, I'm in with no VPN. -
All good here, i think they got it working...

Yeah it does seem like it's fixed! Lots of users in the discord saying the issue is gone.
Maybe keep this thread unlocked for another day or two just incase something goes wrong again? -
The issue just started presenting itself again.

styx socket lost is still present on the latest version, on black ops 1, and black ops 2
world at war and modern warfare 3 work perfectly fine

Hi I can also confirm the issue has returned. It was working perfectly fine for me earlier in the day but now it's once again giving me the some error. I am also from California with xfinity.

for me it's been working on and off since the issue started.
Yesterday it was not working
This morning Plutonium downloaded an update.
It seems to work, in that I can see the list of servers.
but now any time I try to connect to a server I get this error
Perhaps this should be a different thread, not sure
this has happened with 3 different servers i've tried, none have worked
Also the servers i usually play, are not online, maybe they're trying to fix it already, i don't know -

I've been having this issue for the last two weeks. The update only worked for about a day, and then it stopped working. I'm just curious as to what this issue actually means?I'm from Cali.

Hi all - we've been working in the background to see if we can improve this. We've had to move some of infrastructure from one Cloudflare account to another and then we have upgraded our account that runs the backend protection.
The hope is that with the upgraded account we will be given better routes globally for traffic and a few other optimizations for sockets. (Which the backend uses).
Please can people retry in the next few days (it may take up to a week for Cloudflare to change us to better routes) without WARP and see if the issue is resolved or not?
We have had 2 reports so far that this has solved the issue, keen to hear feedback
