Plutonium has pages about adding in custom things, like Custom Maps: Rust, Highrise, Nuketown, Skidrow, Favela
    and Custom Weapons: AK-74u, Intervention
It seems like both the maps and the weapons are meant to be added automatically with IW5, as both of their pages on plutonium are styled in the same sort of way, but I've only gotten the maps, not the weapons.
With my utterly bare-bones understanding of coding/modding games, I assume that adding in the guns, would be easier than adding the maps, with the easiest thing to add being the AK-74u, since it's already in the MW3 campaign and spec-ops, and the hardest thing to add being Nuketown, since it's not even from a MW game, but a BO game.
Anyway, I would be satisfied with help to at least use the AK-74u.

Thanks for the reply, because it prompted me to check again.
I know why I couldn't find it now. It's because since I only play the infected mode with Bot Warfare mod added, the only classes I ever interacted with was the Create Default Classes in the Options for Game Setup. The added guns never show up there (at least for me). They only show up at the starting menu within the Create Class.
Well I guess that's my proper issue then, why are the weapons not there for the Create Default Classes in the Options for Game Setup?

IIRIC its because it doesn't work with recipes. But don't quote me on that.
