my game wont open in full screen

everytime i launch bo2 i can hear the game running in the background but i cant open it to go full screen. so when i do click it nothing happens. if anyone knows how to fix please lmk

are you able to open it windowed mode? or does the game not appear regardless
try opening the external console and pasting this:
r_fullscreen 0; vid_xpos 0; vid_ypos 0; r_noborder 1; vid_restart -
