Weapon XP get max on one kill in Private Match on IW5.

For a longtime I managed to play against bots in Private Match using the mod Bot Warfare 2.3.0.
And I was able to rank-up, gain weapon XP, do challenges, etc.But today, everytime I make a kill, I get instantly max weapon XP,
and I wonder how I can have a normal progression like before.I tired to play without the mod, by spawning bots with the console, and even with that, I get instant max XP.
It seems the issue is from the Private Match progression system itself.I tired on regular servers too and I ranked up normally.

This is a long standing bug yes
I think the only solution is hosting a local dedicated server -
I thought about it and I'm currently working on it.

Can confirm I had this bug when playing private on Bot Warfare, too. One kill and then BOOM, instant weapon mastery and gaining about 8 levels. This only happened after Plutonium updated automatically. Before, progression was normal. And much like Klay here, progression through online play was normal. Thought it had to be a bug.

This bug also occurs when playing on a local dedicated server. When you get to level 4, as soon as you get a kill with any weapon, you get booted out of your server, then when you look at your create-a-class, the weapon you used is now max level.

Apparently, getting kills with any weapon that is unlocked even if it's already maxed out causes you to get disconnected from your local dedicated server. So playing against bots on a local dedicated server is actually currently unplayable.

I may have found the solution. If you have a "raw" folder in the game files you need to delete/rename it. After I did this, I no longer experience issues when playing against bots in private match or in my local dedicated server. It seems that this folder is introduced by the IW5 Alterware client.

Smirnov That sure does work, I've been wondering why it changed when it used to work during the summer.
