BO2 Legit copy with added dlc. safe?

Hi there I've been playing BO2 DLC zombie maps on plutonium. I didn't originally have the map packs but I own the game so I downloaded them online and installed them into the steam directory (as you do). I was just wondering; now, if I were to launch BO2 zombies normally on steam, could I get banned for having modified files? Would I have to remove them if I were to play on steam? Can't fins any info on it.
