Okay, ive been to every forum and every thread.

I highly doubt that, since then you would know what is included in the next update and you would have not posted this before that update releases.

I don't want to be "that person", nor have I scoured every post (though, a good few). But is there any definitive user-end fix or aid to this issue until said update is released? It's been 4 months and I have no idea when said update is due. (Not that "when" matters - it'll come when it comes.)

I'm only replying directly because there's been zero answer from staff on all of the other forum posts I've looked at with this issue.

In terms of something more constructive however: I wondered if it might be possible to use a user profile backup system to solve the issue? I don't know if that's viable with Plutonium as it is with something like SPTarkov, though. Especially since the issue seems to be user progress not saving in the first place.

The update in question is released, the comment was from a time it was broken for everyone.
Nowadays it seems to be just issues with bad internet connections.

Xerxes I currently check around every hour to see if my progress has been saved. Today in around ~2 hours I started Plutonium four times. Every half an hour or so I quit and restart Plutonium to see if my progress has been saved.

                Currently going for Diamond SMGs:

Half hour #1: Finished the Skorpion EVO and went for headshots on the Vector K10
Restarting Plutonium to check if my progress had been saved - it did.
Half hour #2: More Vector K10 headshots (at around 58)
Restarting Plutonium to check if my progress had been saved - it did.
Half hour #3: More Vector K10 headshots and challenges
Restarting Plutonium to check if my progress had been saved - it did.
Half hour #4: Vector K10 Gold
Restarting Plutonium to check if my progress had been saved - suddenly I'm back at the progress from half hour #2, it was saved before and now suddenly is gone.

                What's going on here?

I've spent about 3 weeks of just testing and this is what I found to make it more consistent to keep progress. 1.Ensure that when you unlock the camo, you stay in the match until the next map loads fully. Otherwise the stats may not save. (I typically get at least 1 kill/death to make sure, but this could be placebo)
                  2. What ever skin you unlocked at the latest point in the game, equip it and load back into another. (especially if you unlock multiple skins for multiple guns)
                  3. Progress on camos getting kills on only bots seems (or seemed) to cause more issues with camos being saved, even to the point where without restarting the game my camos for testing would still get reset. This never happened if there where real players along with bots.
                  4. I don't really understand how but, nearly every time I close plutonium by closing the console that loads up with the game it saves all progress. In some cases even while mid match
                  5. The 'uploadstats' command seems to not really do anything within testing.

All of this was tested using HGM or NamelessNoobs because there more popular and I was trying to remove as many variables as possible. I've seen a couple comments across forums that say a vpn tends to fix it but this is still just random. With points 1-4 I do this every time I get on to grind skins and it works for me a confident 95% of the time. Yes there still is the oddity where my last session gets reset but with point 2, as long as I equipped a skin I unlocked and played a game with it then at least that skin is saved and you can keep some progress if not all.
                  Hope this helps
