game freezes when mod loaded

whenever i load up a mod, the game "freezes". the music still plays, the menu still moves, but none of the buttons work. this happens with all mods. if needed DM me and i can send you a video. any help is appreciated.

it does for me too but after a minute or two it'll work again
maybe just because the mods have been added early they need time to be properly loaded
or maybe it needs an update Have you updated the plutonium or do you use offline way so it doesnt update? idk thats all i could think of
