HOUSE V1.0.2
this is just a remake of house from the ds version of bo1 that was inspired by the already existing remakes of facility and temple by Gunoftruth
Features
- extra bo1 weapons and a couple cod4 weapons
- waw perks only, just like the other ds remakes
- ee song (115)
Credits
Gunoftruth - based the style of this map off their remake of facility & temple.
I also used the round sounds from temple & facility to keep it consistent with the other ds remakes
shippuden1592 - desert eagle & model 1887 portUpdates:
V1.0.1: - attempted to fix some pathing issues (I didn't test it)
V1.0.2: - upgraded ppsh doesn't have the same amount of ammo as the unupgraded ppsh anymoreImages
I've only play tested this map once so feel free to reply to this topic about any issues

this is a very good remake i only have a couple little nit picks, you should have the starting pistol be the makarov just like how it is on the DS version and as to not cause any issues just copy over the damage value of the 1911, and the upgraded version can just be the dual wielded version but explosive like normal, i understand this is probably an artistic choice but it would probably better to keep the original round change music and the voice effects for drops like on DS, the car in the second room should be a supply truck and not a car and also the zombie models are not supposed to be german, they're supposed to be russian but i understand that being an issue outside of your control so i don't mind that. thats everything i noticed but everything else is perfect loved the finer details like the attic actually being filled with stuff instead of you leaving it empty. good job on the mod but those are the improvements i'd made.

kimchi.trash I made this map mainly because someone already remade temple & facility but not house or overlook. I really liked those remakes so I wanted this to be consistent with those ones, which is why I kept the starting pistol the m1911 and had the round sounds the same as the other remakes. I kinda wanted it to feel like a remake that treyarch may of done so I didn't go crazy with changing base aspects of the game. Also, bo1 didn't have any supply truck models with the mod tools (in fact, it barley had any car models) so I used a car model I ported from bo2 that I had used for a previous map.
I don't plan on updating this map, especially since I don't have a ton of time and I'm already working on a new map and don't really feel like working on anything else.
I plan on making a remake of overlook in the future (unless someone else makes it first) so I might consider some of those things you mentioned
Besides that, I'm glad you liked the map ( ^ω^ ) -
HomerJay42 i soon after played the original map creator's version of their remakes after posting my comment and saw the reason as to why you kept a lot of the artistic decisions you made so my apologies for that , it is better that you kept it consistent after playing those maps multiple times. it would also be nice if you could load all 3 (4 soon for your overlook remake) maps instead of loading all of them individually but i don't know if that's something hard to do or something i could easily do myself but oh well at least i can play the maps. i am very excited for your overlook remake as its the map i wanted to play the most of the 4 so i can't wait to see how you go on about it , i just hope you take a good while to iron out all the wrinkles and make it the best it can possibly be , good luck to you and can't wait to see what you come out with
ps. i will check out the custom map you recently released

kimchi.trash I'll probably start on making overlook soon, as far as being able to load all 4 maps on 1 mod, it would be really difficult to do that since 2 of the maps weren't made by me and I would have to extract the mod for the maps not made by me and change them and I wouldn't feel all that great about doing that to someone else's work. I'll try my best to make the overlook remake feel as polished as the other maps which should be easy since it's a small map.
