Infamous Yes, I did exactly the same, I select the correct path and no change happens
-
Infamous After selecting the correct path I keep getting the blue button with the word setup
-
Can you screenshot your game settings on the launcher? I wanna see your file path, make sure it doesn't contain any special characters.

HannesC After selecting the correct folder I still get the setup button in blue
-
bascut7 Yes but where is that folder? can you post the entire filepath? for example:
C:\Games\Call of Duty Black Ops 2
-
Dss0 C:/Desktop/Call of Duty Black Ops 2
-
Dss0 Oh I have already solved the problem thank you very much
-
bascut7 how did you solve it?
-
I have the same problem.
-
You people probably have bo2 on desktop, move it to somewhere like C:/Games or something. Do note don't make the filepath too long either.
-
HannesC thanks !!!
-
HannesC My file path is extremely short, not on desktop but every time I try to start BO2 up, the launcher just crashes. The CMD prompt doesnt even pop up. Downloaded VC redist and all that as well to no avail.

Don't hijack threads, your error has nothing to do with this thread. However, my best bet would be you're probably missing dx9 runtimes, https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1gG_DXaZfAUETfXaYJzCP36ImvE_bO_x9&export=download run the dxsetup, exe inside directx folder.

dmak What me and my friend did to get this to work is we moved the file inside the "Black Ops II" folder to the "Games" folder or the folder with all the components: Sound, Video, ect.
