In game Screen Resolution issue
-
The resolution of the game only goes up to 1600x1024, though my screen is 1080p. Obviously, this does not change when switching between display modes. I have tried these fixes to resolve the issue:
-I have tried removing my config file and having it reinstall on it's own.
-I have tried adjusting r_mode in the bootstrapper terminal manually.
-I have tried adjusting r_mode in the config file manually.
If anyone else can help me that would be appreciated.

I had this issue when using display port. My monitor however was 1440p and 300hz the game would get confused with that many options and would stop at 1600 x 1024 after switching from a display port to hdmi the it let me use my normal 1440 p resolution.

ryanisryan2 I will try this, but do you know what I would need for a 1080p 360hz monitor? I imagine HDMI is a bit more finnicky for that.

So uhhh, haha. HDMI reduced the number of options I have. The best the game can do now is 1440x1080 xD
So I don't think changing the cable really helped much here.
EDIT: However, changing to Windowed (Fullscreen) for the display mode actually makes my game run at native resolution (for whatever reason). This was not something that happened before with the previous cable. I will note that I am not exactly satisfied with this due to the cable itself limiting the refresh rate of my monitor to 240hz.
EDIT 2: I switched back to the old cable and the Windowed (Fullscreen) display mode runs at native resolution. What a strange fix? I'm not super confident in it and I am hoping I don't experience any input delay with this display mode like I have in the past. I do know Windows 11 has worked to reduce the latency as much as possible but eh what can you do.
