can you have 2 accounts on the same email address?

I am trying to connect my steam account to my plutonium account but it says that my account is already connect to a plutonium account, which was weird. But then i remembered making an account back in June of 2024, thats when I probably connected my steam account with plutonium, so I was wondering, Can you make multiple accounts on one email address and do plutonium accounts get deleted afrer a while?

I assume making multiple accounts on one won't work because it will tell you the previous email is already being used. And I believe Plutonium accounts aren't deleted ever unless the user does themselves.

G0LD3N 4RM I made an account using my current email address back in 2024, totally forgot about it. recently I made this account and when I tried to verify ownership of bo2 I couldnt, most likely because I linked my old account to my steam account which I cant access

I know I had another account that had verification for BO2, and I was unable to link it to this account because that older account was inaccessible. In the long run, I was just not able to verify ownership for another account without removing it from the first, which I also couldn't do.
