Constantly "connection interrupted" and lagging the entire game

I'm having an issue where I'm getting a constant "connection interrupted" when I play black ops 2. I used to be able to play with basically no connection issues even on distant servers but not I get the connection issues even in solo play. I can play other games currently just fine with no connection issues and I even tried loading the Black ops 1 on plutonium and didn't get any connection interrupted or lag issues there so I'm sure it's an issue with only the black ops 2 game. It to the point where it's unplayable and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a fix. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
