Why did @444 take my name

I used to have the account 444 and i tried to log in today and it seems magically this "contributor" has stolen my name.
I made my account in 2020 as i did this one. RIP

Because you did not use it.
Contributors are allowed to take the names of inactive accounts.

root it only becomes available to claim if you have not used it for a year (2 years if you verified your email address when you signed up)
if someone claimed it, that means you did not use it for at least a year.
