Game issue preventing me to switchin guns, stuck with only one gun slot in inventory.

I found an old thread from like 2023 about this but it seems that no one has found a solution.

Sometimes, after buying a new weapon (could be from the box or wall), the game wont let me switch guns and ill only be able to use one gun slot. i'll still be able to obtain new games, but i cant switch to the other one in my inventory.
sorry if my explanation wasnt that good but thats all i can do.

the only workaround for this bug is reconnecting to the server, which sometimes fixes the issue.
so far, these are the things that i tried already:

• deleting the plutonium data folder
• resetting the control bindings
• reinstalling the game (original copy from steam)

my guess is that this issue is from the game itself and not really from plutonium, servers or mods that ive installed, but i could be wrong.
