Plutonium failed to link steam account because its already linked to another

My steam account was passed down from a friend, may god rest his soul, and I assume his steam account was linked to plutonium when he played CoD on it. I am now trying to link the account to my plutonium account and it won't let me and im just stuck here with no solution since I have no access to his plutonium account. I can verify my ownership of the account now and would like to know if there is any way you could unlink the steam account from his plutonium account? My steam ID is 76561198006882306 and the account I made this post under is my plutonium account, thank you very much.
