Cropping new profile picture does not work

For some reason whenever I try to change my profile picture I cannot increase the crop size beyond a certain threshold. This issue only came up recently.
In the picture below I cannot increase the crop size beyond that. The size of the image does not matter and the max crop size remains the same proportional to the image.

queef-face I tried as well but no matter what resolution the maximum crop size is always the same proportional to every image. Based on my example image I assume it always just stops at around idk 30% or something like that. I might have to just edit images so that the actual image only takes up a corner and the rest of the image is just blank or something
