I'm having an issue when launching the game through plutonium. It works if i launch through steam but not through the plutonium launcher. It displays a message in the bootstrapper that says:
    Screenshot 2026-07-16 185132.png
    Followed further down with:

Saying that it couldnt load certain materials.

    Help would be greatly appreciated

Hey,(0xC0000005 Access Violation). The main issue in your log is this line:
WARNING: Could not find zone '...\zone\english\localized_common.ff'
That missing .ff file is what's causing the bootstrapper to die. Here's what fixed it for me / what you should try:

      1. Verify game files on Steam (right-click WAW → Properties → Local Files → Verify integrity)
      2. Run Plutonium as Administrator
      3. Temporarily disable your antivirus — it sometimes quarantines .ff files silently
      4. Reinstall the Plutonium bootstrapper from plutonium.pw (don't touch your WAW install)
      5. If none of the above works, full reinstall of WAW
The material errors (zombie_electric_shock_overlay, water_droplet, etc.) are just cosmetic warnings and not the cause of the crash, don't worry about those.

Hope this helps, let us know what worked!
