So what was the story behind Redacted T6 and how they got shutdown and disbanded?

Long ago, despite modding was small in the COD Community back then, Custom Zombies on the rise, and before Plutonium was a thing to this day, there was a BO2 modification called Redacted.

Back then it’s basically BO2 Prototype Plutonium with custom servers and possibly gun mods at one point, but making BO2 better due to the severs being plagued by hackers with intent. But it’s been under the rug ever since decades ago and I guess that’s where Plutonium came around in 2020 since BO2 is unplayable due to some bad Hackers trying to ruin games for people.

But I remember hearing Redacted getting shot down by Activision awhile back. It came from GunOfTruth that Activision Lawyers came to the one of the team’s house behind the Redacted mod and threaten them with a lawsuit/crease and desist because it could violet their terms of service, in anycase, piracy as they would put it.

If anything if how Redacted T6 was back then:
v2 can still be played to this day legally, but v1 cannot due to it enabling the user to play offline without an internet connection which means anyone could pirate the game and play.

So v1 is the reason they got in trouble thus they had to make v2 which took away online play and offline play and just made it a Lan/local modification, but you still need an internet connection to play it but once you open the game and it verifies your steam account you won't get booted offline randomly.

Thought of throwing this in, but thoughts on Redacted T6 and how it kind of led where Pluto T6 is today?
