I Want to try Going with Bo2

Now that "Call of Duty
: Modern Warfare 4" is out I'm sort of done with call of duty. I'm not buying a PS5 to play a game that's totally infested with console cheaters. After 11 years of playing every new call of duty that came out. I miss the goofy joystick controller competitive action but I'm willing to give "plutonium" a try with BO2.I hate downing and figuring new things out. I guess I'll probably find out how to do everything as soon as I look for some kind of "how to." Please excuse me if all this gets answered to quickly by something like a search.
My question is what is the quickest cheapest easiest way to get started? How do you suggest I get a hold of BO2? What all do I need to download, and new configure? Feel free to walk me like a dog through this. If there's any BO2 communities feel free to show me that as well and anything else. I don't even remember what the BO2 looks like. I knows it the most preferred and played.
Another thing to consider is I might be working overseas and spending time in hotels. I'll have to get a gaming laptop. I'm hoping BO2 is super low and easy to run on one.

Yo welcome back to the good old games friendo you dont need much really just a bo2 game with 20 gb storage and your set
Some servers that you join might have you download scripts and mods in them to make the game a bit more fun or change somethings about the og multiplayer or zombies
for extra stuff you can put custom camos and change any texture of anything you want
i suggest this this optimized pack for smoother experienceYou can buy any laptop bo2 will run it just fine with no gpu even needed if you play 60 fps all you need is a laptop with an intel i5 8th generation CPU minimum not for the game even it runs it fine just for windows 11
Also it has 4k textures but theyre optimized that they dont take much space
